Directions: ALWAYS perform a patch test before beginning initial use. Place a small amount of Nature's Salve on your fingertips and rub onto the affected area. Reapply as needed. Can be used anywhere on the body.

Cautions: (1) Keep out of reach of children. This product should not be used on children under the age of 5. (2) This product contains Hypericum perforatum (St. John's Wort) which may exasperate photosensitivity if used while you are on prescription medication also known for increasing photosensitivity. This may include certain ACE Inhibitor medications used for high blood pressure. (3) In 2003 Health Canada banned the use of Prickly Comfrey and Russian Comfrey because of the discovery of pyrrolizidine alkaloids (echimidine). This ban remains in effect as it has been shown to cause liver damage - even with topical use. Common comfrey, S. offinale, is acceptable by Health Canada and does NOT contain echimidine. This is the plant we grow and harvest for our products.
