Technology: A combination of proven science with a 3-step approach. Our hair is comprised of two main structures. The inner cortex is runs the length of our hair. It also contains the melanin which gives our hair it's colour. The cortex is covered by a sheathing of keratin protein "scales" called cuticles. Weak hair tends to become porous and if allowed, water can absorb and swell the cortex resulting in further damage. Our Cross-Link technology stops the damage and adds strength to the broken bonds. Step 1. A proprietary blend of proteins and amino acids work to fill in these broken bonds. Step 2. A specialized conditioning blend wraps each hair strand in a protective coating that repels water and balances positive and negative ionic charges. Step 3. A low pH formulation results in tightening of the strands which locks and smooths the cuticles to fortify the repair resulting in healthier-looking, more manageable hair.
